Formed in 2004, Flint Hollow has quickly moved to the forefront of the
greater metropolitan Washington, D.C. bluegrass scene. There they enjoy
the respect of numerous musicians, promoters, and fans.
Whether Flint Hollow is performing a classic bluegrass tune, or one of
their many original numbers, listeners are whisked away to days gone by.
Mixing traditional bluegrass with a splash of contemporary ("just
to take the edge off") is not an easy task. Yet, the members of
Flint Hollow seem to pull it off with seemingly little effort. A tribute
to the wealth of vocal and instrumental talent in the band.
The end result?
Performances that are "wowing" audience members from all over
the region. Whether it's a well-established bluegrass music venue or a
